Description
Made using original Japanese fabric, Kiriko's pocket square features unique prints sourced and imported from their Japanese heritage manufacturer and a folded, stitched edge that maintains its shape however its worn.
This patterned fabric was hand-printed in Kyoto. It depicts Tsubaki, or Camellia flowers, which have been a popular symbol since Edo Japan (1600s). Since the flowers fall off all at once rather than petal by petal, they had a strong association with Samurai and warriors. Nowadays, they are a symbol of beauty, love, and longing.
